wazzup

A few little updates:
-To celebrate the end of summer, we went to Six Flags. Actually, we had received free day passes, which is really why we went. Because really, who celebrates the end of summer?

-When we moved earlier this year, we decided to just finish the last few months of the boys school year at home. We all thought to continue homeschool for the new school year. About 2 weeks into it, the boys voiced that, nah, we want to go to regular school. So we talked and felt that they were right. Regular school it is! I do not have pictures yet, but hopefully I'll remember to take some here soon. We live close enough to walk, though we live in a neighborhood where a few people seem rather shady. But it's okay, see. We have a bodyguard.

This was taken today.
Thane's 5 months and about 70 pounds.
Has yet to gain many inches and pounds.

New York

About a month ago, the kids started asking a lot of questions about the Statue of Liberty, and T has some relatives up there, so we went up for a day. 6 New York books, 5 1/2 hours of driving, 1 near accident in the city, and $40 in tolls later:

P.S. And this time we remembered our suitcase

2 Teeth in 2 Days

"A" had a loose tooth for a few weeks. One night (after having been to bed, so he should have been sleeping, or at least laying quietly in his bed), he ran out of his room screaming rather loudly, "My tooth came out! My tooth came out!" He was quite excited, shaking even. I couldn't figure out why he was so animated. We inspected his mouth, as there seemed to be more blood than we were expecting for a very loose tooth just lost.

The wrong tooth fell out. What in tarnations? How does a wrong tooth just fall out, when it's not loose? So we asked Toothless, how did your tooth fall out? He informs us that he fell and hit his side table. He showed me where, and it was right on the corner. I'm tellin' ya. It's a wonder he didn't knock his eyeball back in his brain. That he hit it RIGHT on his not-loose-tooth, hard enough to knock it out. Sheesh. And not a sign of impact to his gums.
And the very next day? The correct-very-loose-tooth came out. As a tooth should come out.

My Child. The "Philsophizer".

Me: "Heavenly Father loves you always, no matter what. His love is like a circle, it has no beginning and no end."

J: "So does that mean we're like a square?"
